Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in Makassar Municipality in August 2024 was recorded at 59.32 percent, this figure increased by 1.00 points compared to the TPK in July 2024. When compared to the TPK condition in August 2023 of 50.96 percent, the TPK in August 2024 increased by 8.36 points.
The average length of stay (RLMT) of star-rated hotels in August 2024 reached 1.73 days, an increase of 0.02 points compared to the RLMT in July 2024. Compared to the RLMT of star-rated hotels in August 2023 of 1.56 days, the RLMT in August 2024 increased by 0.17 points. Guests who stayed consisted of foreign and domestic guests. The average length of stay of foreign guests in August 2024 reached 2.29 days, while the average length of stay of domestic guests in August 2024 reached 1.72 days.
