Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in Makassar Municipality in September 2024 was recorded at 56.51 percent, a decrease of 2.81 points compared to the TPK in August 2024. When compared to the TPK in September 2023 of 54.72 percent, the TPK in September 2024 increased by 1.79 points.

The average length of stay (RLMT) of star-rated hotels in September 2024 reached 1.55 days, a decrease of 0.18 points compared to the RLMT in August 2024. When compared to the RLMT of star-rated hotels in September 2023 of 1.62 days, the RLMT in September 2024 decreased by 0.07 points. Guests who stayed consisted of foreign and domestic guests. The average length of stay of foreign guests in September 2024 reached 2.85 days, while the average length of stay of domestic guests in September 2024 reached 1.54 days.
