Abstract

In November 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Makassar Municipality was 1.47 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.22.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 1.05 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.6 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 1.02 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 1.03 percent; health group by 2.51 percent; transportation group by 0.3 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 1.37 percent; education group by 1.01 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 2.77 percent; and personal care and other services group by 6.71 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Makassar Municipality in November 2024 was 0.18 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Makassar Municipality in November 2024 was 0.82 percent.
