Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in Makassar Municipality in December 2024 was recorded at 56.64 percent, a decrease of 1.87 points compared to the TPK in November 2024. When compared to the TPK in December 2023 of 58.89 percent, the TPK in December 2024 decreased by 2.25 points.

The average length of stay (RLMT) of star-rated hotels in December 2024 reached 1.47 days, a decrease of 0.19 points compared to the RLMT in November 2024. When compared to the RLMT of star-rated hotels in December 2023 of 1.55 days, the RLMT in December 2024 decreased by 0.08 points. Guests staying consisted of foreign and domestic guests. The average length of stay of foreign guests in December 2024 reached 2.58 days, while the average length of stay of domestic guests in December 2024 reached 1.46 days.
